Is the design service free?
Yes! The initial in-store or virtual consultation is completely free.
If you’d like us to visit your site, a $250 deposit is required, but don’t worry, it’s reimbursed with your final purchase.
Does MiiX offer free virtual interior design services?
Absolutely. We offer virtual consultations and can provide moodboards and layout suggestions remotely.
That said, we highly recommend an in-person visit from our designers for the most personalized results.
Does MiiX provide commercial design help?
Yes, we do! We’re a great fit for commercial projects because most of our products are in stock, we carry large quantities, and we can even custom order when needed.

How much is the refundable deposit and service fees?
The refundable deposit varies by location for site visits:
Richmond: $250
Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster: $300
Surrey, Tsawwassen: $350
West/North Vancouver, White Rock, Coquitlam: $400
Port Coquitlam, Langley, Maple Ridge: $450
Mission, Abbotsford: $600
This deposit is credited back if your final purchase meets our minimum. (Contact Our Designers For More Info)
How is the deposit waived?
If your final purchase equals 50% or more of your proposal’s net value, the entire deposit will be waived, no questions asked.
Are there any additional fees?
Only if you request on-site furniture arrangement by a design consultant. This is an optional service and is billed between $250–$500, depending on the time required.
Everything will be well communicated along the way by our designers.
